For days now the Austrian tv and radio reports at length about the dramatic humanitarian situation of hundreds of thousands of refugees, most notably the minorities of Christians and Yezidis, who after the recent advances of the extremists of the Islamic State (IS) have sought refuge, in the Kurdistan Region.
