President Nechirvan Barzani attended a dinner banquet in Baghdad on June 15 at the invitation of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, which was held in honor of Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar, at the conclusion of his visit to Baghdad.
On the sidelines of the banquet, also attended by Mr. Mohammed al-Halbousi, Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament and a number of Qatari and Iraqi officials, the President exchanged views with the Iraqi Prime Minister, the Emir of Qatar, and the Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament on several issues of mutual interest including the developments in the region.
