Der Kanzler des Nationalen Sicherheitsrates der Region Kurdistan, Masrour Barzani, nahm vergangene Woche an der Münchner Sicherheitskonferenz teil. Er hielt gemeinsam mit seiner Delegation eine Reihe an bilateralen Treffen, unter anderem mit den Aussenministern Russlands, Sergey Lavrov, der IR Iran, Javad Zarif, und der VAE, Anwar Gargash.
Der Kanzler traf auch mit den Verteidigungsministern von Deutschland, Ursula von der Leyen, und der Türkei, Hulusi Akar, sowie dem Nationalen Sicherheitsberater des Iraks, Falih al-Fayyadh und dem US Sondergesandten, James Jeffrey, zusammen.
